Hello Newgrounds!

I'm currently working on an animated project based on the game ARK: Survival Evolved.  I was going to animate this myself, but it has a lot of physical humor and honestly, I'm not good at that sort of thing.    So I'm looking to hire someone for this project!  Ideally someone who has a knack for movement and physical comedy.

Wassup NG!  

First Anoncment is that a Movie I did a majority of the art and animation for is FUCKING FINALLY out.  It's called "TOONSTONE" and it's up on itunes, google play, and amazon to buy or rent. I'd post a link but I hate spamming people with that shit and you're smart enough to use google.

Second anouncement is sort of an update on what I'm doing, and it's mostly working on Battlefield Friends.  I want to make more random shorts eventually but goota feed the baby first.

Also, I'll be attending PICO DAY at the end of the month so I hope to see some of you there!  :D

What's going on chicks and dicks.

So yeah, first off you may notice my name change here on Newgrounds.  It used to be 'Appsro' but Mr. Fulp was nice enough to change it to 'JonnyEthco' to match my youtube branding.

Secondly, if anyone has been wondering where I've been I was busy animating 13 episodes of our hit show 'Battlefiled Friends' and then after our sucsessful Kickstarter, 13 episodes of Doraleous and Associates.  So I've been busy, shut yer mouf.

But now I'm back to making random cartoons for a while.  I want to test out different styles and try to improve my aimtion skills.  My fisrt new vid is here on Newgorunds so check it out.

Lastly, I'm headin to the Newgrounds offices for PICO DAY!  I can't tell you how stoked I am about it.  I grew up with this website and it definently shaped who I am so to finally meet the creators of it is going to be awesome.  Also I get to meet other artist and animators who's stuff I love so that's a plus.  Philadelphia, here I cum!!!

First off, Happy New Year and all that jazz. I'm workin' on a ton of stuff at the moment and it's already going to be a crazy 2013. I've uploaded our Prostitute Mickey Christmas Specialhere to Newgrounds. What started out as an idea for a 3 minute short turned into a 6 minute monstrosity. We busted ass to squeeze this in this year so I hope you enjoy it. We certainly enjoyed making it. :)

Also, check out my show Jonny Draws over on my youtube channel, jonnyethco. It's just me speed drawing silly images but I'm having a fun time doing it. As much as I love making animations I really love making silly pictures. I'll attach the latest video below if you wanna check it out. Whatevs.

Minecraft... Ya know that's one of those things I looked at about 6 months ago and I said to myself, "Wow.. that looks like shit. Why would anyone play that?" But I kept seeing it everywhere so i decided what the hell I'll give it a shot. Now I'm a full blown addict. Congrats Mojang.

I've seen what feels like hundreds of minecraft cartoons in the past year. I think because the game has no real story it lends itself to the creators imagination. So I imagined one day, what would Minecraft be like from the point of view of the mobs. That lead to Mob Squad.

The show was a bit of a challenge because we wanted to try and mix real game footage from Minecraft with these cartoon characters. When you see the show you'll notice we ended up putting a filter on the backgrounds to give them a harder black outline like the characters. It all ended up blending pretty well I think. New Cartoon is up!

WATCH THE LIVING FUCK OUT OF IT!!!

Hey Dicks and Chicks,

I just uploaded one of my recent shorts. You can watch it in all it's corporate bashing goodness here.

I've been doing short parodies like crazy recently which has been awesome. I'll be uploading some more here for sure. After doing 48 episodes of a series, 38 episodes of another series and a full blown animated feature being able to make short parodies had been a nice refresher.

Speaking of the feature, "Toonstone" is so close to being done it's ridiculous. We had a couple of test screenings and everyone had a great time. Once we get picture lock we'll send it off to our composer (who's work is already on the trailer) to add the music and then it will be done. You guys have no idea how proud I am of that thing. Sure the animation is kind of cheap but fuck it, it's a movie that has a clear beginning middle and end and it all came together pretty damn nicely. I'll embed the trailer so check it out. Hopefully we'll find a distributer crazy enough to give this a chance. :)
